Blackburn Flying Boats

Evening all,

I'm currently engaged in researching the projects initiated by the Blackburn Aeroplane & Motor Company in the interwar years, along with a very helpful member of the BAe Systems Heritage group at Brough. The archives held there are substantial but, as is so often the case, far from complete leaving large annoying gaps. However we know, to a reasonable extent, what is missing from comments in notes and company documents etc, so the narrative is sound. So......if anyone has original Blackburn drawings or documents relating to flying boat projects in the 1920s and 30s that they would be willing to share, or if you know of such things in other archives/collections, that would be very useful. For example there were a few single engine designs offered for Caribbean and Brazilian service in the mid 1920s, a tender to Air Ministry specification 9/23 and designs submitted to Imperial Airways in 1929.

A long shot I know, but worth a try. Thanks
